Looking for the Best Journalism Intern Around – Is that You? (TELECOMMUTING)Bookmark This
DescriptionWhile some internship can be boring and non-challenging, an internship with us would be described as anything but that! If you like glitz, glamor and everything pop culture, then you would be the perfect candidate for our magazine website, which is a portal that features; entertainment, news, business and technology.
“Exciting, innovative, fresh and challenging” have been what our internship program has been described as by some of our prior internship alum, and we are confident that you would echo the same sentiments if you were selected as one of our interns.
We are a new age, New Media Company with several entities under our umbrella, but are presently looking for journalism interns for our latest effort. If you would like to be a part of a forward-thinking, fresh company, then continue reading on!
This internship is a 100% telecommuting internship (you work from your current location). If you are not comfortable with working from your location, independently, then, please do not apply. This has proven to be successful in the past with some of our former interns, because many had been local non-related to their major jobs in their hometown, while also interning.
We do ask that you get college-credits for this exciting internship.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Our ideal candidate would be journalism major, and would be well-versed in a variety of genres and topics. The candidate must be an extremely good writer; outgoing, reliable and not ‘star struck.’ You will also conduct phone interviews with artists, so you must have experience in this area, or willing to learn.
-Preferably, a sophomore or higher in an accredited college. While we do believe in giving people their first chance, we would have to get a feel for the person if they are not at least a sophomore in college
-2.5 or better grade-point average
-Must be able to work very well independently
-Must be outgoing, ambitious, self-starter, innovative and willing to learn.
-If you are applying for a PR, editorial, social media or journalism internship – you must be great at writing and communicating. Being a ‘people person’ is very viable in any of our positions
