Concert Blogger Music Magazine’s Journalism Internship is 100% virtual/online. Writers will work remotely from any location and need a reliable computer and Internet connection.
Though internships are unpaid, school credit is given and writers will receive a byline on each piece written.
To qualify for an internship with Concert Blogger Music Magazine you must:
- be currently enrolled at an accredited college/university;
- make a commitment of at least 15 hours per week; and
- be able to receive college credit for your internship and a letter of proof must be submitted.
ResponsibilitiesYou must be self-motivated and able to dive into projects with confidence. You’ll be producing content, aid with research, generating story ideas and pitching editors, conducting interviews, and constantly updating our social media platforms. Candidates must be able to communicate with sources and PR contacts with confidence and professionalism.
RequirementsCandidates must have prior writing experience, a strong familiarity with leading online sites (music magazines, blogs, etc.) and social media platforms (including Twitter and Facebook) is highly desired. Previous experience blogging about music, concerts and recording artists, and interviewing skills are a huge plus!
You MUST OWN a reliable computer, with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, have access to an Internet connection, and a personal cell phone for conducting business calls.
