DescriptionRidgeway & Prospect is seeking a flexible and motivated reporter/editor to lead its two-person business desk. We’re looking for an undergraduate student journalist intern able to spot trends, be a watchdog and reflect on the Global Markets and Economy fluctuations. This is a hybrid reporting and editing position that calls for a fleet-footed, multimedia storyteller able to maximize the articles’ online presentation while also editing 2-4 sections a week. Candidates must have strong news judgment, be well versed in business news and trends and be able to quickly prioritize coverage.
At least a sophomore in undergraduate admission with experience reporting or editing for digital and print platforms desired. To be considered for the position, applicants must apply online. As part of your online application, please attach five samples of your work or links to five recent stories.

Responsibilities- Write 2-4 articles a day on daily market & economy events (has freedom to explore independent ideas)
- In constant discussion with Founder about content and brainstorming ideas
- Must monitor and stimulate discussions on social media platforms
Requirements- Must Present 5 writing samples of your work or links to five recent stories.
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program (Business, Journalism, Economics, Finance, etc.)
- Must have experience writing for online social media platforms
- Must be willing to dedicate 10-15 hours a week
