DescriptionTokyo Ramen House Press is a diverse, newly-launched, online platform for ambitious writers with a large focus on Asian American culture. We are looking for content writers who can produce fresh weekly and monthly articles. They can be short listicles, opinion-styled writing, creative fiction short stories (of any genre), or long-form type articles. We are very flexible with your ideas and encourage self-motivated creativity. This is the perfect position for any COLLEGE LEVEL entry writer who needs experience to boost his/her resume. *Marketers and writers have separate responsibilities, but we encourage you to do both.*
- Submit 3-4 articles per month (about 1 a week)
- Pitch ideas for future articles
- Tweet regularly for our Twitter account
- Promote/share our articles on Facebook
- Come up with action plan
This is unpaid, and NOT an internship. You will be formally recognized as a contributing writer.
Please include in your cover letter what exactly you're interested in in terms of the Asian American culture.
Requirements- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, and/or marketing.
- Experience/interest in new and current social media platforms
- Strong intererst and familiarity with Asian [American] culture
- Familiarity with Wordpress, Twitter, and Facebook is a plus
