DescriptionExciting opportunity with a successful medical compliance company looking to hire an intern with strong writing and online researching skills to find relevant, current healthcare articles and blog on these topics. Experienced in the digital media landscape, including various social media websites. Our company is currently launching a new online training website and will soon launch a social media campaign. The intern hired for this position will need to provide 1-3 short blogs a week and post on the company website. The intern will need to paraphrase articles published by the CDC, World Health Organization and other government websites. Strong critical thinking skills necessary. This is an exciting opportunity for an intern hoping to gain lots of great online experience.
Responsibilities- Internet research and blogging about current, relevant topics in the healthcare industry
- Assisting with or proofing of basic ads, flyers, brochures, invitations, etc.
- Work on special projects, as needed
Requirements- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication arts.
- Strong writing and communication skills with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word
- Experience/interest in social media
- Familiarity with Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
