YourTango.com is the premier media company dedicated exclusively to love and relationships.​ ​We present compelling, brave, and thoughtful editorial​ content​ that inspires, nurtures, informs, and entertains.​ We friend and partner with leading media outlets such as Huffington Post, PopSugar, BuzzFeed and Yahoo Style to produce cutting-edge content on love and relationships.

We are looking for a CREATIVE and MOTIVATED intern interested in a an EDITORIAL VIDEO position. You will act as the liaison between the video editor and the editorial and "Experts" teams to work on fun projects that combine the best of both worlds.

Responsibilities

+ Brainstorm and contribute quality content
+ Write copy and build posts for YourTango produced videos using a conversational tone (you will NOT be cutting/editing the actual videos - although if you're interested in that aspect of video creation, we can discuss training)
+ Write in-video copy and quality control (as time permits)
+ Track weekly video views and top videos of the week to analyze patterns in what videos perform well on social.
+ Help research quirky, fun and insightful YouTube vloggers and create posts around YouTube videos
+ Working on various video and editorial projects
+ If you are based in the NY area, you can assist with our actual shoots (about once per 6 weeks).

Requirements

Our ideal candidate is someone who:
+ Has STRONG writing skills and samples
+ Loves watching videos and catching up on the latest viral video trends
+ Is familiar with social media
+ Can work a minimum of 20 hrs per week on a regular, pre-determined schedule
+ Has their own reliable computer and internet access and can participate in Skype training calls w/screen sharing
