​We are​ looking for ambitious WRITING / EDITORIAL INTERNS to work closely with our creative, energetic and dynamic team.
Interns become an integral part of the YourTango team, learning the ins and outs of the online publishing business.


+Pitching headline and article ideas
+Writing a minimum of 2-3 articles per 7-hour shift
+Editing article submissions in a fast-paced environment
+Finding photos, gifs, and creating quote photos and memes
+Building photo galleries
+Search engine optimization (SEO)
+Working with editorial content from our partner sites


Our ideal candidate is someone with:
+Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write a minimum of 2-3 articles per day.
+Good spelling, grammar and typing skills.
+A degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in journalism, magazine journalism, marketing, communication or related field
+Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, with a fast-paced, high-energy mentality
+A sense of urgency
+The ability to juggle MANY tasks at once in a fast-paced environment
+Self-driven and undeniably RELIABLE

+Ability to work a SET schedule
+Access to your own computer and reliable internet connection
+Ability to communicate consistently throughout the day with our team in REAL TIME via Skype for texting, voice calls and screen sharing
+Available to work a MINIMUM of 22 hours per week between 9:00AM - 6:00PM Eastern Time for FOUR months

(Example work schedule: M, W, F 10:00AM - 4:30PM)

**Like in a regular office setting, you are to be online, interacting, and available at a moment's notice during your scheduled times, with no other distractions**
