Responsibilities-Prepare, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability, or supervise others who do this work.
-Read copy or proof to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
-Plan the contents of publications according to the publication's style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.
-Verify facts, dates, and statistics, using standard reference sources.
-Review and approve proofs
Requirements- Must have experience in editing
- Must be comfortable editing on a variety of topics
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree
- Possess and exhibit a strong and genuine interest in working with people and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
