DescriptionGo Fight Live (GFL.TV) is an innovative media and sports entertainment company that produces, broadcasts and delivers media to various platforms weekly, including our "Real Fights" series on Comcast Sportsnet, as well as to ESPN, HBO, FOX, AXS TV and others.
We are seeking a highly-motivated college student who is either studying to be a career journalist or has completed basic college coursework in journalism, and who is passionate and knowledgeable about combat sports (MMA, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, etc), to contribute editorial content about live events that are distributed to a global audience on our television and digital media platforms.
This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the fast-paced billion-dollar business of sports entertainment, gain invaluable work experience and establish key industry contacts for your future.
ResponsibilitiesYou will essentially be covering live events that we stream by interacting with and conducting interviews with athletes, event promoters and other key participants in advance of these events, and submitting your editorial coverage for publishing on one of our affiliate partner combat sports news sites.
RequirementsCollege coursework in journalism and experience producing editorial content for print and/or online media platforms. Working knowledge of content management systems, such as WordPress, is a plus.
