Description

Pedal the Cause is the premier cycling experience in the region, the pinnacle event of the year, and the driving force behind creating a world without cancer. Pedal the Cause is the only St. Louis event that gives 100% of participant donations to Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital to accelerate lifesaving cancer research. Pedal the Cause is set to take place on Sept. 26 & 27, 2015.

This is your chance to work toward creating a world without cancer while working at the greatest organization in the world. In addition to providing support to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Journalism Internship is designed to provide a well-rounded and practical hands-on educational experience for the student. The internship can be done for university credit and/or resume experience, and is paid with one’s own gratifying feelings of helping create a world without cancer.

Hours are flexible and negotiable (typically 6 hours a week). Preference given to students willing to commit to two semesters or a year-long internship — minimum of one semester commitment required.

Please send resume and 2-3 writing samples to:
