DescriptionDaily Urbano is media website committed to helping Latin artists gain a media presence and raise their profile. We are currently working to create enough content to relaunch our site, and we are looking for junior and senior journalism and drama students to help us.
This internship will be great opportunity to gain valuable, real-world, on camera experience. There will be plenty of opportunities to work collaborative to create compelling scripts and video performances. We are looking for outgoing, professional individuals to help us create compelling and informative videos.
We will be able to offer confirmation of internship for college credits. This is an unpaid internship. At the end of the internship, our most promising intern will be taken on as a paid employee of Daily Urbano.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities including the following:
Conducting artist interviews in English and Spanish
Writing compelling scripts
Filming informative shorts and videos in English and Spanish
Being an on-camera presence for Daily Urbano
Assisting with general office tasks
RequirementsMust be entering your junior or senior year of college with a degree in journalism, public relations, or drama, or be a recent graduate.
Must have a passion for broadcast and entertainment journalism.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have a clear speaking voice
Must be well-spoken and confident in front of a camera.
Must be able to send a video sample, displaying their on-camera stage presence.
