Description

ComeSeeOrlando.com is a well-established resource guide to events, attractions, hotels, restaurants and more throughout the Central Florida region (and beyond). We provide news, reviews, photo spreads, videos - and (coming soon) podcasts and "talk show" styled coverage. We pride ourselves on our broad scope format that goes well beyond theme park coverage. Our intention is to discover and explore all of the varied people and businesses that combine to make our area so genuinely unique and appealing. We present our coverage from an "experiential" angle - meaning that rather than reporting in standard news fashion, your contributions should tell a story of your experience and opinions on the business or event you are covering. We have a friendly, personal tone in our established voice.

We are currently seeking to fill diverse contributor roles. We value your unique voice and perspectives, so you will have extensive freedom to cover the angles you wish to report on! Some of our contributors focus on photo spreads and video coverage, while others wish to provide written articles. We are willing to work with whatever contributions you wish to provide. Social media is a vital part of our day-to-day operation, so it would be helpful if you have a basic understanding of relevant outlets (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram are our primary outlets). We plan to add podcasts, a talk show and a "top ten" series in the coming weeks/months, and we welcome contributors with an interest in helping us to launch these expansions. Web design experience is not necessary as all photos, video and copy are published by our management staff upon approval of content and quality.

There are no set hours for these roles, and you are welcome to work from home or wherever you choose. While our focus is on Central Florida, we have been branching into covering various locations within the United States. At this time, we are only seeking US-based contributors, with a preference to applicants in the Central Florida area. Please be prepared to acknowledge and meet deadlines, and be communicative with our team. At times, you will be offered the option to attend events on our behalf, and appropriate attire/professionalism is expected. If there is an event or attraction you wish to cover, our Editor will be happy to make contact with the coordinators to arrange for media privileges. This typically includes free admission and sometimes special access and gifts. At times, you will be expected to pay minimal amounts to cover parking fees or tips when appropriate.
