Description

Evolving Public is a network that interviews up-and-coming artist from around the globe. We have now been around for about 2 years and continue to grow. As of right now, we are looking to expand by adding journalist and new genres. What we are looking for is, interns that have a passion for music and look to work in the music industry. The point of this intern opportunity is to build your resumes, and have fun while doing so by interviewing talented artist of your preference in your own unique way. (Evolvingpublic.com)

Responsibilities

Must turn in at least two interviews a month on set dates. Typically a 2 week time period per interview.(All interviews will be reviewed by the team before being submitted.) You'll be in charge of finding up-and-coming artist you believe deserves an interview(We would like to know about the artist before you interview them). Our interviews will feature 8-12 unique questions that you will have to come up with, along with a brief summary about the artist in your own words.(examples of the interview format can be found on evolvingpublic.com)

Requirements

Interns must have a good ear for good music.
Must be motivated to build your resume.
Must find your own artist to interview, either you can contact them personally or have us contact them for you.
Working towards getting your BA in journalism. (not required)

Required - Article Writing, Journalism, Punctual, Highly motivated self-starter, Music Criticism, Asking Questions, Summarizing Information
Preferred - Positive Attitude
