At JSY, we’re an impassioned, dedicated and fun group committed to helping our professional athlete, entertainment and non-profit clients build their brands through PR, social media, marketing and more. We love what we do – we work hard and creatively to make our clients and projects stand out above the rest.

JSY is looking for a virtual or remote intern who is interested in writing or journalism for a article writing internship for a sports blog that we're putting on for one of our clients. The topics will mostly revolve around college sports, but could go behind that.

As an intern, you will have an opportunity to learn how to write creatively on your own in a journalistic fashion, and you will get your work published on a regular basis. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who have a passion for writing.

Responsibilities

- Write on-going articles for a sports blog that focuses on college sports topics
- Proofreading your work and taking direction from your editors
- Work on special projects, as needed

Requirements

- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, English, business communications, or communication arts
- Skilled writer
- Strong organizational and communication skills with keen attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience/interest in Web maintenance
- Familiarity with Adobe In Design and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
