Do you love all things television? Are you frequently watching or thinking about the latest episode of your favorite show? Do you love to write? If so, mxdwn Television has a great opportunity for you.

mxdwn is an online entertainment magazine that reports on television, music, movies, and games. mxdwn captures the best of independent entertainment and mainstream culture all in one place. mxdwn Television is currently expanding its coverage of modern television and is looking for news writers.

We are looking for writers with a background or interest in journalism to write articles for mxdwn Television. This position is a remote, part-time, unpaid position that is perfect for people looking to break into the entertainment writing industry. Writers would contribute to the section by writing on the most important TV news of the day roughly 7 days a week. Writers would consult with their editor via email daily about the articles. Since this position is remote is requires that applicants have their own computer and reliable Internet access.

The position offers flexible, work-from-anywhere hours and is a great opportunity for writers who are passionate about TV. Applicants should possess excellent writing skills, be self-motivated and able to work without close supervision, and be interested in modern TV such as The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, House of Cards, True Detective, Daredevil, Orange Is The New Black, Scandal, Empire, Fargo, The Good Wife, and many more.

This position offers valuable experience in journalism and entertainment writing. Writers would get published bylines and build a great portfolio of clips. Interested applicants should send their resumes and cover letter that also outlines some of their favorite TV shows to sarah.k.muir@gmail.com
