We are looking for passionate individuals who are interested in joining our team as a music writer!

NoisePorn was launched in 2008 as an online showcase for underground dance music. Today, NoisePorn has become an outlet for musical diversity, thriving on featuring brand new, emerging artists making their way onto the scene before their big break. In addition to the NoisePorn.com blog, NoisePorn launched its first official print and digital semiannual magazine in March. Hailed as one of the Best Electronic Music Blogs by DJZ, our top priority is to provide you with an escape through good music that you can share with the world.

This position will be completely virtual with main communication through email, so you can do this internship from anywhere.

This writing position is currently unpaid, however this is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in online media and build your resume and writing portfolio. As another perk, we are able to provide you with press passes to various musical events (including festivals).

Writers will be responsible for writing several posts every week regarding news in the music industry, new releases, etc. Our primary genre is electronic in addition to indie, trap/hip-hop, pop and house music. We post stories daily on the organizational app Trello, where you work with other writers in claiming stories you want to write about each day.

We are flexible and able to work with your schedule when it comes to deadlines.

- Passionate about the music industry, specifically indie and/or electronic music (including EDM)
- Knowledgable about trending topics & artists within the industry
- Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills are a must. Knowledge of AP Style is a major plus, but not required.
- Flexible availability
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with WordPress is a plus
