Intern must be a rising or current junior, rising or current senior, graduate student, or recent graduate (within 6 months of graduation date) at an accredited college/university. Applicants must have completed their sophomore year prior to the start of the internship.
Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
Must have previous internship experience and/or participated in college clubs/organizations, and/or in-depth coursework in a related field
Legally eligible to work in the United States. TUSA is unable to sponsor visas for interns. If you are an international student not already studying in the U.S. on a F-1 or J-1 visa, then you have to go through a university or an outside organization (internship placement agency) that will sponsor your visa.
Current 1st or 2nd year law student. The applicant must have completed a minimum of one semester of law school prior to commencement of internship and have taken Commercial Transactions, Corporate Law and/or Business Law, as well as introductory coursework covering Intellectual Property Rights.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0 or minimum average grade of "B".
Must have strong written and oral communication skills, organization, coordination and planning skills. The ideal candidate also has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and severe time constraints.

ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with members of the TUSA legal team on a variety of legal matters.
Draft and review NDA, procurement contracts, vendor partnership contracts, real estate leases, distribution agreements, employment agreements, etc..
Provide commercial contracting support by researching issues on privacy, compliance, and international law.
Assist with the design and implementation of legal processes to support a fast growing company.
Create templates and playbook on issues including branding, intellectual property, employment and information security for starters.

Good standing as a student at an ABA accredited law school. Strong academic credentials.
An interest in Corporate Law and Intellectual Property.
