Description

The Center for Human Rights represents thousands of minors detained by the federal immigration authorities along with their mothers. Flores is a nationwide class action case on behalf of immigrant children detained with their mothers. We have recently collected declarations from mothers and children in various detention sites and now need help to organize information in these declarations into SUBJECT files to help us prepare a legal brief seeking to have as many mothers and children as possible released from custody. To read more about the Flores case check this link. (http://www.latimes.com/nation/nationnow/la-na-immigration-family-detention-20151020-story.html) This work can be done either in office or remotely. Please contact us if you are willing to dedicate one or more hours on this important project during the next several days. We plan to complete this phase of the legal challenge within the next 5 days. If you are unable to dedicate time within the next 5 days, but wish to work on this issue after that, please contact us as there will be more volunteer work needed on this important case.
