AbroadLink.Org is a Ghana focused exchange program that offers opportunities for students and adults worldwide ( mostly in Europe and the U.S.) to travel to Ghana,West Africa to participate in learning and service projects while being immersed in the vibrant Ghanaian culture. We offer internships and volunteer placement with organizations in Ghana, Gap year programs for high school graduates and short term study abroad programs that focus on a particular skill or interest area. Responsibilities

Conduct factual and online research
Draft legal memoranda and assist with case preparation
Work with legal advice center
Coordinate public education and awareness events to educate locals about their rights
Conduct due diligence and draft reports
Engage in advocacy efforts aimed at curtailing human rights violations

Requirements

Corporate law interns must be currently enrolled in law school or recent graduates. Human rights internships are open to both undergraduate and law students, as well as recent graduates, from various fields including international development, communication, law, and policy.
Interns are matched with an organization based on their interest and qualifications, and the needs of the partner organization. Applicants should have a strong research and writing skills, be well organized, self motivated, and have good communication skills. Graduate students, law students and those with relevant educational and work experience are encouraged to apply.
