DescriptionA high volume, Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a paralegal with experience in civil litigation. The firm handles personal injury, medical malpractice and premises liability. He/she should be able to handle all discovery matters including e-filing, responding to discovery, scheduling, mediations, depositions, settlement distribution, scheduling, and case management (setup client files, maintain client files, request information, organize information, prepare demand packages). Strong communication and organizational skills are a must and must be able to work under pressure. Bilingual would be a plus. Being a Notary is required.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities entail handling prospective client calls & gathering all pertinent information related to the caller's personal injury claim, and mailing letters to prospective clients.
RequirementsThe candidate must be able to interface with a computer and use case management software (preferably ProLaw). Candidate must be friendly and service-oriented, as you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. Candidate must be punctual and follow business casual/professional dress code. Candidate must also be able to work well with others in the workplace.
