DescriptionA reputable Elder Law Firm in Grand Rapids specializing in Medicaid Planning and Veterans Benefits Planning is seeking a paid intern to work two days a week (preferably Mondays and Fridays) to start immediately for a total of 16 hours per week to start with the possibility of increased hours and future employment. Our firm has been successfully serving clients for 19 years and also does some estate planning and probate work.
Our intern will gain invaluable experience in an area of law that is rapidly growing and may be offered a permanent position with more hours.

ResponsibilitiesThe intern would be responsible for the word processing and editing of legal documents and correspondence, client follow-up, mailings, filing, taking incoming calls, and performing other general office duties.
RequirementsHe or she should be familiar with MS Word and Excel and have above average skills in grammar and punctuation and above average communication skills. He or she should possess a positive personality and be detail-oriented, as the quality and accuracy of our legal documents is very important.
