10th Avenue Enterprises handle all business management for playwright & author JB. This is great for anyone looking to working and building connections in the literary, theater, or film industry. This intern will assist the management team in booking, promoting, and managing the writer. This person needs to be creative and be able to think outside of the box. This intern should be able to operate independently based on the needs and requirements of the writer. Travel may be required periodically, which will be covered by the company. This is not an office internship; you can work where you choose, as long as you get the job done.

Interviews will be done by via Skype/Google+ or by telephone.

Responsibilities

-Research and maintain database of contacts in the industry
-Call various contacts to schedule meetings, events, and appearances
-Help develop and maintain social media networks
-Research and stay on top of current trends in the industry
-Brand management
-Assist in screening and developing the projects of the writer
-Maintain consistent contact with the writer, to include at least weekly updates and developments whenever they happen

Requirements

Experience in management, marketing, social media, and public relations is required. Experience in publishing, theater, or film is not required, but would be extremely helpful; more importantly theater and publishing.

Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and demonstrate a proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.
