Outreach Community Ministries is an interdenominational community service organization, striving to put Christian faith into responsible action. The organization has been called into existence by local churches to respond supportively to the needs of young people and their families. The organization is committed to providing excellence in human services and demonstrating compassion for the whole person. Outreach Community Ministries also offers services through Warrenville Youth & Family Services (WYFS), The Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream (OCC) and Wheaton Youth Outreach (WYO).

Grants Management
Grant funding provides a vital component of support to the work and ministry of Outreach Community Ministries. Grants support specific programs, as well as overall administration of the agency. When our goals are congruent, Outreach will partner with local and state government agencies to help fulfill Outreach’s mission. Grants Management at Outreach is facilitated by a full-time Director of Grants Management and a full time Grants Assistant who interfaces with staff and programs across the agency. The responsibilities of the Director of Grants Management include a wide range of activities from grant writing, oversight and reporting, to financial management and monitoring. Knowledge of funders standards and contractual responsibilities assists in assuring program compliance. Searching for new funding sources and grants to fill one time needs is also a responsibility of this department.
