Depending upon each colleges specific "credit" requirements, qualified candidates may receive internship credit for either 1 or 2 semesters, 3 or 6 credits (students must check with their career center/internship counselor to clarify). This unique internship offer as intense training program that prepares the intern for a professional career. Students who are selected will undergo training designed to prepare them for Aflac's Marketing and/or Management team. This comprehensive training combined with hands-on field experience improves resumes and dramatically increase confidence. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE OFFERED FULL-TIME POSITIONS. Atleast 7 of the top 10 Aflac Mid-Atlantic Associates & Managers since the year 1998, started as interns during their college career. Those 7, each year, were offered full time positions upon graduation and are currently among Aflac's leaders nationwide.
Responsibilities-responsibilities include various aspects of all internships we make available
- administrative and operations interns should have a desire or willingness to learn and master internal operations within a Fortune 500 company operating from a local office
-administrative and operations personnel must be able to multi-task and be proficient and often time about average at everything within the business

All majors welcomed. Sophomore-Seniors (post-grad is done on a case by case basis).
Flexible hours (no nights, weekends or holidays), Min. 10 hrs/wk.
Paid internship may be available*.
Must own laptop or tablet computer.
Have reliable transportation to get to and from regional office in Towson, MD
Ability to use Microsoft office and perform various internet searches
provide administrative and operations assistance within all aspects of our insurance and benefits office (assistance may include but not limited to areas of human resource, sales, marketing, social media & e-commerce marketing, as well as medical insurance claims processing, event planning, web design, copy writing, management scheduling, making outbound phone calls and/or receiving inbound calls
