Description

Mood & Mind (www.moodandmind.com), a rapidly growing health food and dietary supplement manufacturer, wholesaler, and direct to consumer E-commerce retailer is seeking a full time Assistant Operations Manager.

We are seeking a candidate who would be excited to be an integral part of a company providing products that truly make a difference in people’s lives and help them to "feel good, think bright, and live happy" (our motto).

We're a small but booming company with less than 10 employees. This means that we need every team member to be exceptional; willing and able to fill a variety of roles when needed - from order fulfillment to supervising the facility. This also means that there is a great opportunity to grow with the company, and to become a truly essential member of our team. Mood & Mind was founded in 2008 and has been growing exponentially every year since.

This position will be a “2nd in command” under our E-commerce Operations Manager.

Examples of duties include:
- General admin (logs, filing, etc)
- Customer service
- Adding/updating product profiles to marketplaces (Amazon, Ebay, Magento)
- Implementing sales and promotions
- Research and implement affiliate program
- Implementing online pay per click ads
- Updating social media presence (Facebook, Twitter, Blog, etc)
- Ordering stock and supplies
- Supervising employees in their duties
- Order fulfillment

Required skills and qualities:
- High level of comfort with keyboard/mouse, Windows, and general app navigation
- Google search proficiency to research information
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Time management and self starting
- Basic PC hardware troubleshooting (Printers, peripherals, etc) mostly using Google to isolate and solve issues.
- Attention to detail and mental focus.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- English fluency
- Exceptional work ethic and enthusiasm!

Preferred experience:
- Ecommerce marketplaces (Ebay, Amazon, Bigcommerce, etc)
- Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Adobe Photoshop basics
- Online ads and marketing
- Copy writing (product descriptions)
- Social media (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)
- cGMPS (current good manufacturing practices)
- SOPs (standard operating procedures)

Salary will be offered based on experience, education, and skills. Health benefits available after 90 days.
!Must not need to take time off for extended vacations (more than 3 days) during first 120 days!
