Description

This Executive Internship provides an unusual opportunity for an individual or individuals to craft and implement contemporary business development plans and give complex and confidential support to the founders and management team of a STEM-based company with exceptional activities and products ready to bring to market.

This Internship encourages the individual to play a vital role in developing strategic plans for bringing innovative products to market while enhancing the team's effectiveness and efficiency by adapting to changing needs and producing project-based results.

Candidates for this internship must be creative, driven, curious and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-oriented, results-based, with a community focus, and a global reach. An individual must possess the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong communication, organizational and management skills. This individual will also have the opportunity to build a small working team for specific STEM-based projects.

This role requires the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with strict discretion without exception, and lead a small team in bringing some innovative products and exceptional activities to market.

Responsibilities

Manage and independently complete special projects Including interactive content creation and aerospace activities.

 Assist with and eventually manage the planning and implementation of strategic, events, and logistics

 Prepare and convey as necessary confidential correspondence on behalf of the projects and the team.

 Lead background research, write detailed briefings, and organize materials related to policy and administrative matters

 Fully participate in budgets, marketing and strategic planning

Requirements


This Opportunity requires the individuals to be in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, or Iowa, at least part of the year.The interview and periodic meetings will be in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area, but a good portion of the work could be virtual.

The Individual or Individuals must have these qualities:

A high level of energy, be a self-starter with creativity
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
Possess or be very familiar with strong computer, social media and digital content skills.
Must be able to work and collaborate with professionals in the fields of marketing, science, programming, content creation and the digital arts.
