DescriptionFuerza Design is a unique graphic and web design firm that is completely owned and operated by college students. We believe that we, as students, understand the needs and wants of small businesses. Fuerza was founded two years ago in Seattle and has expanded across the country as we have brought more students onboard. The position we are offering today is unique in the sense that in the normal corporate world, it would normally only be available to people who have worked for years.
In our Human Resources and Management internship, you will be jumping straight to the top tier of our company. Responsible for overseeing general operations of a number of students, you will assume the management roles that exist in the real world. In addition, you will have an additional obstacle regarding the means of managing. Our company is entirely virtual, meaning that you will need to find ways to communicate with those you manage to ensure that all questions are answered, client's wants are met, company goals are reached, and more. While we will give you the tools and help you need to succeed, this internship is certainly not meant for everyone.
As with all of our positions, this is a compensated internship. As a manager, you will succeed the most when your team succeeds, and as a result, the payment structure is based around that idea.

Responsibilities- Reviewing potential applicants and conducting interviews
- Managing a team of individuals ensuring the communication flows between sales and design team
- Conducting employee reviews
- Ensuring the sales goals are met
- Ultimately responsible for the client's satisfaction and must handle any disputes that arise
- Set up billing for clients, ensure that payment is processed
- Assist sales and design teams whenever possible
Requirements- Currently attending a university working towards a degree in business, marketing, communications, human resources, management, or similar
- Ability to communicate on a daily basis with other people at the company
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead by example
