We are searching for a Interns Senior Facilities Manager based in our NYC office to plan, direct, and implement facilities, security and environmental programs on a national scale within our fulfillment center network.
ResponsibilitiesStrategic planning related to the implementation of policies, procedures and training programs
Negotiation and management of national contracts related to uniforms, food service, waste, security and facility infrastructure maintenance for the fulfillment center network.
Implementation and enforcement of environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including reporting systems to maintain compliance documentation
Develop, implement and evaluate programs and procedures for all facilities that enhance security awareness and compliance with state and federal guidelines as well as corporate guidelines and policies
Inspect facilities to detect existing or potential security hazards, and recommend corrective or preventative measures where indicated. Maintain a security dashboard showing recommendations, capital cost and status
10+ year experience in a national facility management role
Ideal candidate will have facility capital project management capabilities
Excellent communications skills
Ability to negotiate and manage national contracts and programs
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power point and the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a fast paced environment where limited standardization currently exists
Experience with a food company and manufacturing environment preferred
Corporate office facility management experience preferred
Approximately 50% travel will be required
