Foundation for a Green Future is looking for an intern who will help recruit Exhibitors for Boston GreenFest in August of 2016. The Exhibitors and businesses are a crucial part of Boston GreenFest. The internship will be unpaid but may be counted towards class credit.


Boston Greenfest is the region's largest multicultural environmental music festival that will be on August 19th-21st. Our goal is to inform EVERYONE as to the many ways green living can make a positive impact on our world, city, neighborhoods and each of us. Responsibilities

Work with a team to:
Help develop site plans for Boston City Hall Plaza and Sam Adams Park
Help recruit volunteers to run site
Help develop emergency plan
Help coordinate services for exhibitors, vendors, performers and sponsors
Help "green" the site
Help train site staff/volunteers

Requirements

Interested in management, engineering, general contracting
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
Not afraid of heavy lifting during the event
Good at working with a team
Experience with google drive
Organized and able to multi-task
Dedicated and passionate about the environment
