DescriptionWe need someone for 5-20 hours/week (ongoing) to help with some marketing / market research / business development for a new product launch that we are trying to sell direct. We are representing the direct factory from overseas. The target market will be the Oil & Gas EPC's and the mining industry in the USA, mainly in the Dallas & Houston area.
Person will need good phone and internet skills. This is not telesales, but more true business decision maker research and business development around a unique sector for mobile ocean container manufacturing. We will be making the sales calls in person but need support to help me develop.
The hours could grow significantly if we can make some inroads. The pay will be hourly and for the right person, will increase also.
We will provide full training, your own company e-mail address and anything else required to support you.
We require someone who can work from home and who has internet, telephone etc. Ideally, we are looking for a student or person who wants interesting part-time work, and who lives locally to our North American Commercial Manager, (close to the junction of 75 & Mockingbird).
This will be an interesting and probably fun job that could lead to greater things. It would also be unique work experience for any student looking for some unique resume building experience from a $1b global manufacturing company.
Hours can be completely flexible.
ResponsibilitiesIntern will be expected to:
- conduct web research on companies targeted in the Oil & Gas and mining sectors
- make calls as needed to confirm key information
- send out e-mail follow-ups
- utilize linkedIn (can use our account) to help connect with key people.
- possible travel (not required, more of a value add to the intern).
