Our Summer 2014 internship has been filled. This is for Fall 2014.

CreditXpert is the pioneer and the premier provider of highly personalized online credit management and optimization solutions. We provide our end users with powerful yet simple-to-use web-based credit tools and education through their credit report providers. Millions of consumers use our software to help them understand their credit, and tens of thousands of mortgage originators use our software to help close loans for credit-challenged borrowers. You can help us create a new generation of products that is optimized for our users' needs.

This is a paid, temporary internship expected to last a few months. The Product Analyst/Quantitative Research Intern will work on a full-time 40 hour week schedule. Currently enrolled students will be considered as long as classes are largely outside of working hours. For the purposes of collaboration and learning, as well as data security, most of the work must be done on-site at our Baltimore office.

This internship will allow you to cut your teeth on advanced analytics, unearth fascinating insights about consumer credit and mortgage lending and see those insights directly applied to product design. It will be a great introduction to the practice of data-driven product management.


Working closely with the research manager, you will use SAS and other data analysis and reporting tools to analyze large product usage databases so that we can understand our customers better and optimize our products and content. You will collaborate with product managers to translate business questions into data analysis plans, and to explain the findings in a way that is comprehensible and actionable.

You will also design, initiate, and analyze the results of online consumer surveys about credit, as well as surveys of our end users. You will have the chance to learn about product discovery and user experience design, and participate in user research.


Currently pursuing/recently completed a BS or Masters in a quantitative discipline, or have a BS in a quantitative discipline with current enrollment in/recent completion of an MBA program
Excellent quantitative/math skills and dexterity with numbers
Able to interpret statistical results for non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing
Able to swiftly learn new software
Excellent self-organization skills, adaptability, and able to prioritize multiple projects
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to work to deadlines
Experience using advanced analytical tools (such as SAS or R) a strong plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc.) a strong plus
Must be authorized to work in the United States during the period of the internship
