DescriptionThe Directory52 Network is looking for someone who is organized, and analytical. Researchers are responsible for performing aggressive lead generation activities for the Employment, Event, News, Financial, and Automotive Industry. This Intern must yearn to see the fruits of their labor come to life by watching how their data helps consumers solve their daily problems.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from pipeline building to prospect qualification. Research Interns will learn about advertising trends, and have exposure to B2C marketing tools. We are flexible on the exact work schedule, but expect between 10-20 hours per week remotely.
ResponsibilitiesOur RI’s are responsible for assisting in the usability of websites by providing lead generation activities as assigned under the direct guidance of the Director of Sales. Demonstrates leadership and self-management skills eliminating micro management. The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Build & maintain proprietary research databases;
• Daily Client Relationship Management (CRM) Maintenance;
• Qualifying and Transferring leads based on activity level;
• Actively monitor new inputs and to collect various data to gauge spend In the digital industry;
• Utilize social and professional networks to generate leads;
• Communicate regularly with Sales Department to monitor contact change requests In CRM;
• Assist with Sales and Marketing meetings with insights gathered from business and networking communications.
Using multiple sources for gathering of business intelligence on companies while providing verification of connection and opportunity. Simultaneously work with open CRM systems, one for input and one for output. Actively manage and monitor your pipeline to analyze data sections that provide the most opportunities.
RequirementsThe position demands experience and knowledge of research methods as well as a willingness to learn new techniques. Must have strong attention to detail, strong research, analytical, and Presentation skills. Typically RI’s have an interest preferably in one or many of the following specialties:
• Database Administration
• Demand Generation
• Conversion Analysis
• Business Development
