DescriptionAddrenal is an extreme sports talent agency based in Huntington Beach. We have a vast network of athletes and other entertainers that we represent globally. We are looking for interns to help spread the message of our network and come up with innovative ideas to move our team forward.
The Public Relations Intern's primary responsibility is to help achieve our public awareness and public outreach goals. Responsibilities will include selling the world (and our company) the story of our athletes and entertainers through public/media relations, print, youtube, social media, and event planning/management. This internship will be instrumental for creating, maintaining, and evaluating an integrated communications effort that highlights our network of athletes and entertainers to extend their reach.We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with a passion for extreme sports and adrenaline filled activities.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily content on digital media platforms including, but not limited to, blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and YouTube.
Manage scheduling, posting, creative asset development, and all other aspects of running a lively content marketing program.
Assist in the management of day-to-day content strategy activities, including editorial calendar planning, pitching and drafting compelling content, market research, promotions, contests, and relationship management.
Monitor social media influencers, trends, applications, tools, emerging platforms, etc., and make recommendations that are a good fit for our clients and support marketing initiatives.
Become an advocate for the company engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Determine a target market, recommend marketing strategies based on this and help with the development of an overall marketing plan.
Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer reviews (online and in person) and respond accordingly.
Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of marketing campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
• Major in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or other closely related field – degree in progress or completed
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills (AP Style knowledge is a big plus)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic, highly creative setting
• A positive attitude and excitement to learn new skills
• Previous PR/media experience preferred
