Author Marketing Experts, Inc ( is one of the most dynamic, innovative and successful book marketing and PR firms in the country. We have helped put 11 books on the best-seller list in the last 24 months, and our CEO is a prominent speaker, author and panelist, who also teaches at NYU and writes for Huffington Post.

We seek a part-time person who is experienced at working virtually to join our fantastic team, to help grow the business further, and to learn the ins-and-outs of book promotion.


We’re looking for a highly organized individual who is willing to do a multitude of administrative tasks as it relates to marketing and publicity. You will be asked to sift through incoming emails, schedule appointments for our CEO and pitch speaking engagement. You must have good research skills as you will be called upon to do quite a bit of research.

We are a very independent team that functions successfully with quick turnarounds. You must be a goal-oriented, proactive worker who gets satisfaction out of finishing tasks.

In addition to your resume, please answer each of the following questions. Candidates who submit applications with incomplete questions will not be considered:

1) Have you worked virtually before, if so for how long and in what type of capacity.

2) Please cite specific examples of your proficiency online i.e. blogs you’ve worked on, Facebook Fan Pages you’ve worked on, or research you’ve done.

3) Please tell us all Microsoft programs you are proficient in.

4) Give a specific example of how you have multi-tasked in the past.

Additionally, we want to emphasize the following must-haves for this position:

Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with people.
Microsoft programs: You must know Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, these are programs we use daily.
We are an Internet company so a knowledge of social media is helpful.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to learn from written instructions.

This is a virtual position, so experience working virtually is a must.

A background in publishing is helpful, though not mandatory.
