POSITION INFORMATION
We are entering into a period of rapid growth and are looking for a driven intern to work mainly in a marketing setting. The Business Development/Marketing Intern will help DG&A grow and expand by reaching new clients. Business Development/Sales Interns are responsible for developing new and existing business avenues for DG&A. They also may work with other departments in DG&A, including recruiting and research, operations, marketing strategies, etc. Business Development/Marketing Interns are accountable for gathering data regarding DG&A's clients' markets. They conduct intensive research pertaining to channel development, and new market penetration. Business Development Interns will develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis, and develop new and improved methods for marketing DG&A services through various new and traditional media.

COMPENSATION
Unpaid/School-Credit; Opportunities to grow with company following the successful completion of the internship

DURATION OF INTERNSHIP
Flexible start & end dates; open to part- and full-time interns. Minimum of a three month duration and at least 15 hours/week. We will coordinate with the right candidate to create a weekly work schedule.

START DATE

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day customer interactions and client relationships
• Master the client sales process
• Identify opportunities to expand DG&A’s current customer base
• Assist in developing client proposals, letter of execution, and contracts
• Update proprietary database
• Prepare presentations and request for proposals for prospective clients
• Assist in following up on business leads and opportunities

Requirements

• Excellent, writing, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate with customers with finesse
• Project management a plus
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Publisher)
• Experience with Google Software Products
• Highly organized with excellent follow up skills
• Able to multi task several different projects throughout the day
• Willing to learn about the executive recruitment industry
• Team player ready to help the Business Development or Execution Team when needed
• Reliable and efficient
