We're looking for sharp, ambitious, high character individuals for our Intern and Associate Development program. Must have high integrity, have good people skills, be coachable, and must have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create and update portfolio management reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
• Create a monthly client reporting package for all divisions within the company
• Enhance understanding of the investment industry and economy through various readings, meetings, and projects
• Providing support for an extensive economic database as well developing new economic research
• Developing skills and knowledge of different product software
• Assist in miscellaneous special projects
• Provide research on potential and existing clients and the competitive landscape
• Managing and following up on digital marketing campaigns
• Assist in identifying potential business opportunities
• Monitor news and developments relating to, or impacting, key clients/prospects
• Prepare periodic reports on screening, tracking, and monitoring clients and prospects

Requirements

• Knowledge of economics, economic data, and economic forecasting
• Proven ability to use quantitative analytical tools and databases
• Understanding of finance and fixed income investments
• Good quantitative, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to develop creative solutions using spreadsheets, databases, analytical software and graphics (Proficiency in Microsoft Office [e.g. Word, Excel, and Power Point])
• Previous investment experience and demonstrated use of quantitative analytical tools and databases is preferred
• Basic understanding of insurance products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively as a team member
• Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external clients by phone, email and face to face
• A positive attitude with good organizational, presentation and writing skills
