DescriptionShockSound Entertainment is looking for young, energetic Campus Ambassadors to join our Marketing team for the Fall?.We need our interns to help manage projects, conduct market research and field research, manage, implement and execute alongside our team as we continue to innovate in the entertainment and digital space.
No entertainment experience necessary.
As a college scout and marketing representative for ShockSound, your responsibilities will be to work your local college campus and regional market to promote ShockSound releases.
ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities:
. distributing physical marketing tools (posters, flyers, advance music samplers, etc.) on campus and regionally
. connecting with venues, clubs, bars and other lifestyle outlets (fashion, sports, book stores, restaurants, etc.) on SS releases. Also required to create and submit database/contact updates on local contacts.
. creating marketing plans with direction from SS marketing staff
. working with local music retail on promotional campaigns
. preparing weekly reports on activities with photos
. working on localizing social media and online marketing campaigns with direction from SS marketing staff
. assist with artist promotion and events in your region
. organize local listening events as directed by SS marketing staff
. submit local market feedback on SS releases music distribution activities
. must be enrolled at your school in the current semester
. must have access to car, camera, and computer
. must have a desire to work in the music business
. strong written and verbal communication skills
. strong marketing intuiton, work ethic, creativity, and a positive attitude
