The Direct Marketing Intern will assist in supporting the direct marketing activities of the Drive Safer Marketing team. This individual will be a fast learner, have a strong work ethic and will assist with print, email and online campaign support, record keeping, analytics, and ad hoc marketing projects. This internship is year-round, accommodating a part-time schedule during the school year and full time during school breaks and summer.

Drive Safer provides the premier car control and defensive driving courses in the US, preparing students to control their vehicles in the face of real-world distractions and dangers that take thousands of lives annually. Drive Safer’s certified high performance driving instructors provide hands-on training ensuring that students know how to handle and avoid hazardous behind the wheel situations. Drive Safer also partners with high schools to provide in-classroom workshops and presentations and has a fundraising program donating a percentage of registration fees back to partner schools. Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Prepare audience lists for external marketing campaigns
• Manage email/automated marketing system for external marketing campaigns
• Manage marketing piece request follow-up process
• Work with vendors and perform quality checks on external marketing campaigns
• Campaign Recordkeeping
• Inventory Management
• Support ad hoc projects of the Direct Marketing Team


Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in marketing, business or entrepreneurship. (Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing preferred)
* Proficient Using: MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to self-manage and prioritize project workload
* Must be a team player
* Knowledge of InfusionSoft a plus
* Hours during the school year are part-time ~ 20-25/wk; hours during the summer are full time ~40/wk
