Encompass Media Group is a full service event company, with fifteen years of marketing experience working with diverse products across the United States. Expertise includes sponsorship negotiation, sports marketing, experiential marketing guerrilla marketing, grass roots campaigns, promotional tours, brand management, special events, concerts and PR stunts.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
You will be reporting directly to the Director and Manager of Event Marketing. Venue, vendor, location research will be a primary focus, as well as event and staff scheduling, and onsite execution.

You will learn a tremendous amount about the event marketing and production field from senior management supervisors who have 25 years combined event experience. This internship will provide you with the tools to continue on in this industry if you choose to move forward in an Event based career.

This position is a three month internship with option for growth upon review at the end of the contract term.

3-5 days (15-20 hours) a week minimum. Days and hours can be flexible if you are a student. This is an unpaid internship, course credit available. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or senior student looking to enter the event marketing industry.

Requirements

Encompass Events Division is looking for an Event Marketing Intern.
Qualities in candidates must include:
- Detail oriented
- Strong multi-tasking and writing skills
- Interest in growing experience in the Event Marketing industry
- Independent research skills a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and internet saavy
- Will to work hours outside of the expected 9-5 (this industry calls for weekend hours and evening hours on occasion)
