We are a private members club in an unassuming buidling in flatiron which consists of 300 accomplished and young-hearted members who are drawn from our circle of friends and New York City’s finance, creative, entertainment and start-up communities. We pride ourselves in having members with vastly different backgrounds, similar interests and a “work hard, play often” mentality.
About the Position
We are currently looking for an event/marketing intern to assist in marketing campaign execution, brand partnership strategies and event planning. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to work for a small start-up and maintain flexibility of schedule as interns are allowed to work remotely as long as she/he has access to a computer with Internet connection.
We are looking for someone who has superb communication and organizational skills. This is a HANDS-ON internship in which we are expecting our intern to contribute his or her best in idea development and execution.
Position is a part-time internship (about 15-25 hours per week), we are willing to work with your schedule.
ResponsibilitiesWork directly with company CEO and Director in developing and executing strategic brand partnerships, company events, marketing strategies and communication plans
Assist in preparation of marketing decks, proposals and contracts for strategic marketing campaigns
Participate in weekly company meetings and conference calls
RequirementsAbility to receive school credit during the Fall semester 2013 for internship
Student must be willing to provide proof of credit letter from his or her school on school letter head
Experience in marketing/public relations, event planning and/or social media strategy
Familiar with current media and trends relative to men (blogs, magazines, television shows)
Team player, innovative, great organizational and communication skills, desires to work with a small start-up company
Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop a plus!
Willing to sign a company non-disclosure agreement.
