Overview
ARDENCY INN is an edgy new makeup brand deeply rooted in the downtown New York music scene. We have launched our full makeup line in Sephora in August 2013, and currently have partnered with NYLON, Urban Outfitters and Nasty Gal! We are committed in continuing to grow and develop high quality and high performance color cosmetics that are quick and easy to use. We are looking for creative, fun and motivated individuals to work closely with the Product development team, to help handle business and operational matters, and to coordinate key creative projects.

In this start-up environment, you will get to learn a variety of tasks and be exposed to all aspects of the cosmetics business. These include, but are not limited to, product testing and development, party and event planning, casting for campaigns and photo shoots, PR & Marketing initiatives, oversee office inventory, assisting on Ardency Inn photo shoots and post editing. You will work closely with the Product Associate as well as Director of Product Development to help design, test and create our next new launch in partnership with US and Europe based product manufacturers.


LOCATION: New York, NY 10013

INTERNSHIP DURATION: 3-6 months

HOURS: 15h / weekdays (Flexible)

COMPENSATION: UNPAID

Responsibilities

Your daily tasks include and are not limited to:

- Research & Development for new brand launches
- Cosmetic testing
- Production assistant during photo shoots, campaigns, and events
- Coordinate PR & Marketing initiatives
- Prepare and deliver products for press and publication
- Assist to design art for brand campaigns (Utilize Adobe photo shop & illustrator) (on job training available)
- Analysis and management for office Inventory

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:


Strong analytical skills

Able to work independently
Strong organization and planning skills

Effective communicator (verbal and written)

Ability to multi-task

Proficient computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word)



Positive attitude (Very important!)
Undergraduate student
