Connections

Description

IAGmedia is a full service marketing and entertainment agency delivering products and programs that thoughtfully and responsibly connect companies to the communities in which they sell in to or serve. Additionally, IAGmedia creates educational and socially relevant content distributed via mobile and physical goods which directly serves children, families, schools, and communities both local and abroad. This content often becomes part of corporate partnership programs to help support various causes through our C2C business model.

In five years we have helped students turn classroom knowledge into experience many businesses look for when hiring. Interns receive daily/weekly assignments with “challenges” to gain client services experience. The internship provides the opportunity to create tangible results which, upon approval, can be used for resumes. We additionally provide life coaching to help students transition to real world experiences and recommendation letters based on completed work results.

The summer 2014 Internship will offer opportunities in the following areas:
Writing for all aspects of internal programs and client services, including: website content; blogs; newsletters; press releases; collateral; editing; social marketing communication. Subject matter for internal Let’s Go Chipper program focuses on children and family topics that help empower kids in the areas of social, mental and physical wellness with specific attention to nature and environmental causes.

Themes include:
o The positive benefits of connecting kids to nature, Covering Nature Deficit Disorder, ADHD, juvenile diabetes
o Simple, stress-free ideas to disengage from life and connect with your child in nature (from ideas on walks, talks in the backyard, and making nature crafts)
