The Branding Muse was developed to address the needs that a traditional education often overlooks. Headquartered in the Washington, DC area this organization is built upon the commitment to empower young professionals and college students to take control of their personal brands by providing them with the resources to create and maintain a professional and attractive online presence. The marketplace is extremely competitive and the internet is a tool that can be harnessed to help distinguish greatness from mediocrity.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining marketing and social media initiatives – includes drafting messages and project planning. Responsibilities include:

•Spearhead the development of a Brand Ambassador program for Branding Muse
•Assist with the preparation of publicity documents and newsletter
•Compile and manage media lists
•Assist with reporter pitching
•Development of collateral and marketing materials
•Support BM website, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest and Facebook strategy development and postings
•Draft and format weekly blog entries and guest postings

Requirements

•College Students in the Northeastern region of the U.S.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent people skills – ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels
•Ability to meet deadlines and attend weekly phone meetings
•Willing to be the face of Branding Muse on website and social media channels
•Excited to own projects and take control of their responsibilities
