The Marketing/Communication Specialist is responsible for direct-to-consumer PR and brand-related marketing activity worldwide. is a simple and innovative tool for the to create and share educational apps. You can create educational games in less than a minute using simple picture and a template to learn. The app is focused to primary school kids and for language learning.


Strategy design and execution
In collaboration with the marketing director, develop the overall consumer-direct media strategy that aligns with TutoTONS’s vision and objectives;
Drive and execute strategy to broaden TutoTONS’s reach through consumer, product and key vertical / influencer outreach as well as local market penetration efforts
Media Relations & PR
Identify, craft and pitch relevant stories to a broad range of consumer-facing media, both online and print. Stories should align with TutoTONS’s vision and objectives and aim to broaden the public awareness of TutoTONS and our education application;
Cultivate and nurture media relationships to ensure TutoTONS is a “known quantity” with the consumer press;
Draft press releases and manage the distribution of news through all relevant outlets and audiences, including social media.
Creative sales
Pro-actively find opportunities to communicate our story by leveraging data, game launch announcements, industry trends, marketing initiatives, etc.
Support product and marketing teams around key events (e.g. game launches, EdTech event…) TutoTONS presence at industry events / conferences. This will include creating and coordinating marketing materials and presentations

Usability management
Manage user testing and collecting feedback from users, online and offline.
Coordinate the feedback received with the development team preparing detailed brief and following the implementation of recommendations.

Creative: You understand that PR is not about putting a press release on the wire and sitting back to watch coverage flow in. You know how to dig deep to be creative and thoughtful in the news you put out.
Well-Connected: You are on a first-name basis with media contacts of top-tier outlets across consumer-facing publications, press and online influencers / bloggers. You identify / create opportunities and pitch to appropriate contacts often.
Proven Track Record: You’ve successfully placed stories with solid positioning in a wide range of B2C outlets.
Collaborative: We’re a close family here at TutoTONS, and this role will work across many functions and across borders
Strong Communicator: You have strong Native English written and presentation skills (including good grammar). Additional languages are a plus.
Data Digger: You should know how to leverage data to help you tell a story
Tech-Minded: You don’t need to know how to code, but you should have an enthusiasm for social and mobile games and a general understanding of online businesses

Self-driven: Able to work in autonomy, set your own deadlines and have a strong drive in life to make a difference.
Experienced: You should have at least 1 year of PR and/or marketing communications experience in a B2C Internet company. This means being part of a team designing strategies development to successfully executing and measures the results.
Educated: Four-year degree min, ideally in public relations, communications, journalism, or marketing
