The YWCA NCA is currently seeking 2 committed marketing communications interns that will provide support in the Marketing Department and report directly to the Marketing Communications Manager.

This is a non-paid internship that will last from 6 months - 1 year (negotiable).
Please consider working 10-20 hours per week

Location: YWCA NCA Office Building in Northwest DC.


? Organize and pull together marketing collateral for staff
? Assist with social media initiatives (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc)
? Contact local media outlets (Radio, TV, Print, Online News)
? Distribute press releases
? Distribute communication pieces to the local community
? Assist with event planning of annual company luncheon and other upcoming events
? Research local advertising options
? Assist with “YW Live” video interviews (Onsite and offsite)
? Assist with photography of program events and general program activities(Onsite and offsite)
? Other administrative duties


? Currently enrolled in a college/university or recent graduate (local college/university preferred)
? Familiar with social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)
? Friendly, outgoing and able to network comfortably
