Martha Spelman is a marketing and startup consultant who creates and implements innovative marketing strategies for entrepreneurs and small- to mid-sized businesses in both the B2B and B2C arenas. Bringing a unique combination of business and marketing experience, Martha helps clients establish their company brand, determine their target markets and promote their businesses via both traditional and online marketing methods.
Martha has first-hand experience starting, running and marketing businesses in the creative services and product arenas. She is a seasoned copywriter, blogger and guest lecturer on business at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Her clients are in the arts, architecture, engineering, design, finance, product, legal and corporate management fields. Martha serves as the Marketing Chair on the board of the Institute of Management Consultants.
As an avid endurance sports enthusiast, Martha has participated in triathlons, half marathons and distance swimming and cycling events. In 2006, Martha cycled almost 600 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles as part of the Aids Ride. She is an active member and volunteer with the LA TriClub and recently completed the 2012 Los Angeles Marathon.

RequirementsCandidates must have the following:
• Minimum of 1 year of college
• Ability to work 8 -- 16 hours per week
• Familiarity with social media marketing, writing articles, PC, MS, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
