During the making of this feature film we realized the transformative properties documentary had in making knowledge sexy for the general public. After years of travel, research and experimenting SEXYKNOWLEDGE.com was born to share the knowledge from academia, business and non-profits with the world to persuade the next generation that Researchers are Rockstars and Knowledge is Sexy!
This site was also founded to expose the world to a new kind of sexy, a sexy that is measured by the impact you are making in the world through your research, authentic community engagement & knowledge.
Convinced that the documentary lens could make true knowledge sexy and attractive to popular culture, our mission is to get SexyKnowledge into every research institution to assist in scholarships and the support of academia by translating the best thesis from university into bit size pieces of knowledge the public can understand, learn from and use to better the communities we live in and improve the quality of life for all of humanity. Sex is used in our society to sell everything from tires to haute couture. Why shouldn’t it be used to sell an idea & maybe even bring knowledge back in style?
This Personal Assistant position is to work with and help keep organized an executive who sits on the Board of and runs three different entities / organizations:?? President & CEO of SexyKnowledge.com, DOCUinc.com and DocuThesis.com these are all brands of DOCUinc a documentary firm that specializes in making knowledge sexy for companies such as Monster Cable and Universities such as Stanford. You will help keep things organized by:?- Managing day-to-day workflow?- Organizing and preparing paperwork?- Establishing priorities ?- Managing incoming correspondence (phone, mail and e-mail)
