A growing marketing, management and consulting firm, Breakthrough Concepts is seeking a part time marketing intern to assist with day to day operations and marketing efforts. The company works with a diverse portfolio in the food & beverage, entertainment, fashion and healthcare industries and is looking for someone who is eager, reliable and a desire to learn the in’s and out’s of operations, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities

• Keep informed of social media trends and innovations and communicate them to Management
• Provide research and insights for new business opportunities, industry events, social events
• Lead, create and research overall process and approach of social media programs and community management
• Create weekly reports for all activity
• Maintain database for existing and potential clients and update regularly
• Write press releases to showcase events; including but not limited to testimonials and event photos
• Support, promote and coordinate company hosted seminars, networking/industry events
• Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to daily operations
• Attend tradeshows, networking events, company events as necessary
• Coordinating and tracking campaigns, preparing performance analysis reports of post campaign and making recommendations to concurrent programs for corrective modifications
• Writing and maintaining content and providing updates to our company websites
• Provide administrative support that includes, running errands, coordinating events, preparing appointments and agendas

Requirements

Requirements:
• Must have own PC/laptop (laptop preferred) with high speed internet connection
• Position will consist of working virtually, in the field (industry events, etc) and at office space
• Intermediate knowledge and understanding of common social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Yelp, online outreach, WordPress blogging, partnership marketing, as well as new Internet technologies
• Strong command of the English language
• Detail oriented, strong prioritization skills, proactive
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SkyDrive, CRM)
• Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to justify strategic actions with metrics
• Ability to multitask projects simultaneously and remain calm under pressure
• Training will be provided at home office and constant direction/guidance will be provided
