We are the E-news of San Diego but instead of focusing on celebrity gossip, we celebrate and focus on the amazing businesses in San Diego! We spotlight local business owners and learn about their personal story.
Cindy, the host and producer of the show, will come to your event or business, try your products and services on camera, talk to some of your best clients, and give your potential customers an inside view of your company. We are all about fun, and we make this an interactive, natural experience. Instead of talking to a camera, you are having a real conversation with Cindy, in a relaxed setting, with a tailored set of questions to target potential clients.
If you are hosting an event and would like to create a buzz, we come out and interview guests, the co-hosts, and sponsors, all with a hip, stylish tone!
POSITION AT PULSE SD: TASKS/GOALS
Targeting with social media, increased traffic to website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube channel along with driving revenue sales for media package. I would also like to expand our web series and increase public relations to expand our brand.
Assistance posting daily on social media to increase impressions to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Using Yelp as a tool for us. The goal would be for The Pulse to become an Elite Yelper which would entitle us to free access to Elite Yelp parties at local business. keeping a pulse on local events, business and people locally relevant to newsworthy stories ThePulseSD would cover. Help promoting services and assist with Media Package to book potential clients. . Also assisting the days we are filming our web series, and any events we are attending. Help brief clients we are interviewing and organizing the events and the time line for those events. Follow up calls to clients that want to be featured on the Pulse.
Estimated 5-10 hours per week or bill by job/task: (to be determined) to start to grow presence of social media and page interaction. A minimum of 2 Facebook and Twitter posts daily to enhancements to Facebook and Twitter accounts. Recommendations would be made on graphic design work and functionality. Hours allotted would include cross promoting other businesses pages to increase “likes” and “followers”. Weekly reports would be sent to ThePulseSD along with a recap to address any successes or areas of opportunity. Any events, promotions, contest, content, pictures or media communication given would be scheduled for updates at client’s request. There’s no limit to the amount of post per day and any other social media avenues could be incorporated into weekly hours. Would also recommend and assist with 2 yelp reviews weekly. All reviews would first be approved by The Pulse SD.
This positon would be organic and allow for flexibility and change.
Responsibilities- Create signage, newsletters, email campaigns, online promotions, etc.
- Provide support to social media efforts to target new audiences.
- Assist with trade shows and special events to promote company and increase attendance.
- Research and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials.
- Collaborate on team presentations for management and clients.

Requirements- Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Marketing
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Possess creativity, flexibility, variety, and growth potential.
- Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
