Description

The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing Director with a variety of projects and daily tasks that offer the intern hands on experience. Interns will gain experience in public relations, company branding, social media marketing, customer relations, market research, and campaign management. Possible career opportunity at end of internship.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Regularly using CRM system Sugar.com
-Find new channels to grow user base (ie.apartment complexes/hotel)
-Create dealsnapt effectively report content
-Call merchants to schedule appt for M.E. person
-Call off merchant engagement list w/o an active offer
-Compile report data for review with merchants
-Send welcome letters to new businesses
-Input Events into dealsnsapt for new markets
Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills required.
Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers and managers.

Requirements

Marketing or closely related major required. 3.00 minimum GPA.

-Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel required
-Strong attention to detail
-Project management skills and ability to multi-task
-Customer service experience is a plus
-Must have at least one letter of recommendation from an instructor
-Ability to work 10+ hours per week (flexible scheduling is available)
-Excellent phone, verbal and written communication skills required.
-Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, co-workers and managers.
